Well that was an interesting day

So yesterday at my NST DJ decided not to behave so well and I got sent to the hospital.  I must say I was pretty dramatic about it and called Tim out of work to take me because the NST was nonreactive and I was really scared.  After spending lots of time hooked up to the monitor the nurse came in and held it to my stomach to track DJ so she could get a good reading then sent me down for an ultrasound (which they did not let Tim go in for!) and then after my doctor okay'd everything I got to go home.  It wasn't that bad of an experience but took the whole day up.  I just hope he cooperates tomorrow and I don't have to keep going to the hospital for these.  I got admitted and had my own room even which seemed excessive for an NST and ultrasound but I guess that because he was 'nonreactive' combined with my GD and HBP they may have thought it was placental issues and that I would be kept.  Speaking of being at the hospital, I need to pack that bag still.  I did make a list today and researched some ideas of what to put into the bag so I just need to pack it.

Another first yesterday, I had a contraction!  It was after we got home and I was in the kitchen.  It stopped me dead in my tracks and took the breath right out of me.  Ya know when people say you will know what a contraction feels like when you have one... I get it now!
