I keep putting off making a blog to follow our growing family, though I'm not really sure why. I created this blog with the intent of recording my whole pregnancy but seeing as how I am now 33 weeks pregnant... I think I failed on that note. So how about a fresh start? Tim gave me my push present today, because it is so close to DJ's birth so I should start actually using this so I can record my birth story and DJ growing up.
Speaking of that push present, Tim got me a Pandora bracelet! He got a sterling silver one and got the baby carriage charm I had my eye on :) I am so excited, he wanted to give it to me early so that it wasn't lost in the chaos of having a baby and so that I could enjoy it for a while. I am thinking of it as a motivation to push present!
We finished our labor and delivery class (I told you I have been bad about trying to keep up with this, it's my first post for Pete's sake!). I think we learned a lot but I wish more people in the class would have taken it seriously. One girl laughed through the whole contraction simulation exercise citing that she would be getting an epidural and would not need to know how to relax. An evil little part of me wonders what she would do if the epidural only worked on half her body....
Halloween is next weekend and I.cannot.wait. I still need to finish up my shirts but I will be going as a pumpkin complete with a vine like blinking headband and I will also have the totally overdone but super cute skeleton shirt. If I get ambitious enough I will post pictures, but really I'm going to set the bar low with a hope to just update this darn thing again soon!
